Innovia Medical’s Roadmap to Net Zero

Environmental pressures are impacting every aspect of life, and the situation is developing rapidly. Innovia Medical believes in protecting the planet and reducing our carbon footprint.

Climate science indicates that the eventual extent of global warming is comparative to the amount of carbon dioxide being put into the atmosphere by humans. To offset climate change, carbon dioxide emissions need to fall to zero. The longer it takes to meet that goal, the more the climate will change. As part of Innovia Medical’s effort to be a more sustainable, environmentally friendly company, we have committed to becoming Net Zero by 2040.

We are well on our journey to achieving that goal, as all four of our production sites have been registered to the SME Climate Hub Commitment, which is to halve greenhouse gas emissions before 2030 and achieve Net Zero emissions before 2050. Additionally, businesses enlisted with the SME Climate Hub will be globally recognized by the United Nation’s Race to Zero campaign. The global campaign aims to gather support from businesses, cities, regions, and investors to reach a zero-carbon recovery that prevents future threats and creates sustainable growth.

“I am very proud of Innovia Medical’s ambition to carbon neutrality,” said Terry Meredith, CEO, Innovia Medical. “Our company recognizes the importance of preventing or mitigating any negative impacts and our aim is to make a positive environment now and for future generations to come.”
